Within the framework of the Organic Agriculture School initiative, ADES trained students from the  Güiscoyol School, in the town of Trinidad in Sensuntepeque, about garden beds.

This technique consists of preparing a specific area of land for planting using fertilizers and organic repellents.

Creidy Rivera, agronomist and facilitator, highlights the importance of having gardens in schools: "The gardens have two important purposes: on the one hand, it is educational, because it serves the student community to know the classification and types of plants; and on the other practical, because it offers teaching methods for healthy eating. "

The workshop focused on concepts such as types of home gardens, aspects to take into account to make an orchard, seedbeds, and types of seeds needed for direct sowing.

Later, the students planted cucumber, radish, coriander, chives and chili in their garden beds.
